(1936, Supreme) Johnny Mack Brown, Lucile Browne, John Merton, Ted Adams. Johnny rescues a known criminal in the desert and decides to give him a new chance at life, making him his prospecting partner. Big mistake. Trouble follows as his new “partner” tries to do him in and steal his wife. Most fist- fights in early B westerns were pretty lame, but when Johnny catches up with John Merton, he beats the hell out of him in five of the hardest punches ever thrown in a poverty row western! Whew! 16mm.
