(1970) Frank Wolff, Fernando Rey, Julian Mateos. Obviously inspired by The Desperate Hours, but in its own way it's almost as good. Wolff plays a mad criminal who breaks into the home of the judge who convicted him with plans for revenge. A grim war of nerves ensues. A tremendous hallucinatory scene will put you on the edge of your seat. Recommended. Color, 16mm.
